Javier Belmonte
Senior Associate
Javier is a senior associate in Devesa’s corporate department. He joined the Devesa team in 2023, after having been part of the international law firm CMS for seven years.
He specialises in providing commercial and contractual legal advice to local and international companies, focusing his practice mainly on mergers and acquisitions, as well as restructuring, corporate governance and corporate law.
Throughout his career, Javier has carried out several secondments in national and multinational companies of recognised prestige and from different sectors such as the hotel industry, wholesale of cosmetic products or real estate consultancy. This has allowed him to acquire additional experience of the needs and concerns that clients have on a day-to-day basis.
Curriculum
- Graduate in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid.
- Master’s degree in Law at the Institute of Stock Exchange Studies of Madrid (I.E.B.).
- Member of the Madrid Bar Association.
- Lawyer attached to the Corporate / M&A Department of CMS (2016-2023).
